Each Learning Lab is based upon research and studies in psychology and neuroscience presented in accessible ways. This research is confirmed and enlivened by the work of writers, philosophers and teachers who speak to the same topics. Participants leave the workshops with the evidence and insights needed to understand the topic well and integrate it into their own lives afterward.

Formal mindfulness practice and the informal practice of living mindfully are both explored in each of the Learning Labs. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in practices for health and wholeness that they can incorporate into their own lives immediately after leaving the workshop.

Participatory experiences are a cornerstone to each Learning Lab. Participants will engage in hands-on activities that illustrate ideas and concepts and allow for the development of their own understanding. This may include dialogue, writing, art, play and many other activities.
